“On Yer Bike” on behalf of WSPD

On Behalf of WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY

We’ve got the time, if you’ve got the inclination! Skerries “on yer bike” for  World Suicide Prevention Day, Sunday, 10th September.  Your team, club, friends, family, co-workers – let’s get together!

The theme world-wide is ‘Take a minute, change a life’. Imagine what taking an hour will do.

We’re not asking you to raise sponsorship to take part, no paying registration fees. Just let us know what time you can donate the hour, show up and pedal for 60 minutes.

Skerries has always been a ‘giving’ town, a town with a huge community spirit. Let’s come together once again, get behind World Suicide Prevention Day, help raise awareness of the support that’s there for those who need it and raise some funds for two charities who do so much toward suicide prevention.

Our aim: 1000k over 8 hours between 40 people.

We’ll have donation buckets strategically placed and people can drop in loose change or paper money! All monies raised will go to the two charities:

· Save our Sons and Daughters – SOSAD

· Skerries Youth Support Services – SYSS

So, think you can do it? 1 hour on a stationary bike? If you’re answer is a yes, then call or text or Whas App on 0872335734 and we can chat about it.
