BREAKING NEWS!!! to report from the Hills on 1st April 2016…… Freddie Flintoff and Kevin Pietersen where seen leaving the club house late last night after meeting with the Management Committee and agreeing to play for the club for the 2016 season. Both are said to be extremely excited to finally get to play on one of the best grounds in the cricket world with one of its greatest teams. “when your a kid growing up all you dream about is playing on the wickets at the Vineyard” said Flintoff, “its a dream come true, what a beautiful ground and such a well maintained field, I couldn’t believe it when I stepped out onto it for the first time” added Pieteresen. Meanwhile in other Hills news Max Sorensen has decided to quit cricket and pursue his love of poetry on a full time basis. “Those close to me know poetry is my real passion, cricket doesn’t give me the same buzz as poetry does” Eh erm! okay Max, whatever floats the boat. Max hopes to have a book out in time for Christmas and will be doing a world tour of Fingal to promote it. We wish him all the best…….
