Mark Donegan proved again what a wonderful wicket keeper he is yesterday when he took six wickets for Leinster Lightning in their IP50 win against the North West Warriors at Bready Cricket Club. This performance equalled the previous record held for a wicket keeper in Interprovincial games.

We are very saddened to hear news of the death of Naseer Shoukat’s mother in Pakistan earlier this week. We send our condolences, prayers and sympathies to Naseer and his extended family and friends at this sad time. May she rest in peace.

After many years of research we are delighted to announce that Jim Bennett’s new book “The Story of The Hills Cricket Club” will launch on Friday, May 12th at 8.00pm in The Vineyard. We welcome all members, former members, supporters, and friends to join us on the evening.
We look forward to welcoming the great and the good – that means all of you – to a wonderful night of cricket chat and maybe even a bit of nostalgia as we recall famous occasions and remember great friends who have moved on to a higher grade where rain never stops play.
