In what was an historic day for women’s cricket in Ireland with a win over England in a reduced over game at Stormont, our own Aimee Maguire produced a Player of The Match performance to set up that victory. Coming on to bowl in the 15th over she proceeded to take 5 wicket for just 19 runs in 3.5 overs, the fourth best figures for any Ireland bowler in women’s ODI history.
