Make sure to get your Hills Swag on for the forthcoming season and be the envy of the Cricket World!
The 1st of our O’Neills orders is being placed on Monday 21st March. This order is primarily for T20 navy gear including name on back. It is important we have this playing gear before the season starts. It is unlikely we will get another opportunity to order T20 gear this season as O’Neills operate a special order policy with minimum numbers on this gear. Our supporters and kids can have their own top. If you fancy a top and/or bottoms for yourself or as a gift make sure you give your order details to team representatives. If no one has taken your order yet please text Gillian Byrne on (087) 3735251 or private message us via our Facebook page before Friday March 18th.
Adult Top €40 approx
Adult bottoms €30 approx

Everyone at The Hills would like to take this opportunity to wish Max Sorensen and Ciara Metcalfe all the very best in preparation for the T20 World Cup in India next month, Max jets off tomorrow and Ciara will follow next week . Ireland’s Men will play at least three matches in the tournament and have been drawn against Oman, Bangladesh and the Netherlands in the initial stages, while the Women’s side take on New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Australia. Max has been with The Hills since 2007 and made his Ireland T20 debut versus Kenya in February 2012, taking the wickets of Rakep Patel and Alex Obanda to finish with figures of 2/17 in an Irish victory. Ciara recently joined the Hills as player and coach to our two senior Womens teams having previously played for Malahide and Pembroke CC. Ciara made her Irish international debut in June 1999. In 42 ODIs, she took 50 wickets at an average of 25.08, placing her behind only Isobel Joyce and Barbara McDonald in terms of wickets taken for Ireland. Although she retired form international cricket in 2011 she made a return in 2015 and so far all her appearances have been at T20 level. Good Luck to you both THCC!

A reminder to all adult members that indoor pre season training continues on Monday nights at North County between 9pm-10pm, cost is €5.00 per session. Please make sure you bring all appropriate gear specific to cricket. Training is about being: on time, ready and working on your technique, don’t be worried about how quick your bowling is or how hard you are trying to hit the ball, it’s all about timing and accuracy at indoor pre season nets. Make sure all areas are safe and the hall is clear of gear as this in itself can be a big hazard during a session.
And remember, Enjoy one and All……..

The Hills had a very successful launch night for the new club website on Saturday 13th February in the club house. It was great to see so many members of the club young and old out in force. A BIG THANK YOU to our media group of Willie Dwyer, Lauren Hoey and Karl Freeman and our website developer Rory Wheeler who made this project happen. We would also like to thank Shay Clinton for cutting the ribbon and giving our site its official GO LIVE! We have set up Instagram, a Youtube channel and we are working on our Flicker photo gallery, we also hope to launch a junior Facebook very soon. Thank you all once again for making our cricket club one of the best in the country.
