The club would like greatly thank the people involved in producing a stunning evening in which stories and photographs recalled the clubs history over its first 50 years last Friday night.
A huge crowd enjoyed members personal memories and thoughts from great games and events which added to an already wonderful night.
Club members, on the night brought along previously thought lost items such as score books and programs plus never before seen photographs to add to an already incredible amount of memorabilia collected over the few months.
It is the plan to upload all these items of historical relevance onto a computer which can be accessed by members, when required to recall our club’s great history.
As our president Martin Russell stated in his opening speech,
‘this maybe a night to recall the last 50 years but for us it is only the very start of putting together, the history of our club in one place‘
A DVD on the evening will be produced over the next while and the many photographs shown on the large screen on the night will be also available on a memory stick.
Maurice o’ Keeffe has also produced a CD of club members recalling great days and events over the 50 years and is a must listen for all cricket lovers.
Again, the club are hugely thankful to all the people who made this evening one of the great evenings in our clubs history. #THCC
